Dont know, but a good thought ! Cant really imagine why not. They are both 5 stud, with the same 'ish' wheels ?
I have read they are different, the carriers bolt on a different way to the Vectra,hth..........
Would the Calipers fit in any of the vectras carriers tho? i heard somewhere you can put 314mm calipers on 345mm carriers or somthing to make them 345's lol dont quote me tho!
just a thought if that is true?
If they're still available - and cheap - buy them anyway, stick them on ebay for other Astra owners to fight over.
The 314mm calipers can be made to take the 345mm VXR discs and pads, so all you need is the larger carriers. However, they do need a bit of modding and the one person who's done it (3.2GSI) got hold of the rest of the parts cheaply. He also advised that it was only a job for someone who knew what they were doing...
You can buy the whole VXR setup brand new for about 800 squid from courtney...
Bare in mind that the discs and pads for the VXR cost about 400 quid without fitment from VX...
if you have 285mm on at the moment why not just spash out on some posh disks and pads? ive just got EBC Ultimax disks and green stuff pads and im bouncing off the widscreen now.
if you want expensive brakes my mate runs a Evo4 fully kitted up........ £2000 a Corner!!!!!!!! More money than sence the pads are somthing like 300 quid a corner! HUGE 6 pot Brembos and 4 pots at the back
