    Default Bsr updates

Once you have put stage 1 onto your 2.0 Turbo what do you do about new updates BSR send you on the site? I plugged my Bsr tuning map thing into the computer and it updated, do I need to put the new update onto my car? If so can I just write over the old tuning map? Cheers

It's strange, everytime I plug it into the pc it updates, I wonder if it's the same update all the time?

There is a sync history you can look at when you log into BSR's site www.bsr.se/ppc/, it tells you when you last uploaded / downloaded and what version you have so you can see if you have downloaded a newer version..

Does it look the same version or a newer one yesterday when I did it? The numbers seem to be the same on the Stage 1 Fw part

Yeah they look like the same versions, the FW 01190 is the firmware version of the PPC unit and the Method: sw. no. 535xxxxx is the ECU map version.
I just plugged mine into the laptop and it downloaded files again, but they are the same as I already had on the PPC unit, so it must just automatically do a download, so in theory you'd always get the latest map when you connected the ppc to a pc.

Thanks guys, I've just updated my Stage 1 to FW01190 from FW01160. First update since January 2008.
