    Default help needed vectra 30cdti 2005

    hi i need help from any one with a pre face lift 30cdti i need some continuity readings from the fuel injectors i need some one to messure the top 2 pins in the injector socket on the injector not the loom. i need to now what reading u get and weather the reading is constant or shows for a second and disapears i am trying to work out weather i need 4 or 2 injectors i would be greatfull to any one that can help me many thanks in advance.

    I'm not sure what you're on about here mate
    There probably won't be any values showing, beucause the injector will have to be unplugged for the test.

    hi that is correct u need to unplug the injector and take the readings from the injector socket on top of the injector not the plug i am trying to work out weather the solonid valves on the injectors are faulty or not .

    Any pics as to where they are? Can you not compare them to your others or are all 6 suspect?
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    hi big sig i suspect i have 2 injectors that are faulty if u look at the rocker covers there are three injectors sticking out of the top of the covers one at each end and one in the centre and each one has a electrical plug connected to it . if u unplug the plug from the injector with the ignition off u will see 4 electrical pins inside the injector socket i need to now what reading u get if u test the continuity between the top 2 pins and weather the reading is constant or disapears straight away .so i can comfirm weather i need 4 injectors or just 2 the way the car pulls when driving i suspect i need only 2 i brought some off flee bay but they were no good and made the car worse many thanks

    Where did you buy the injectors mate? I bought 6 from vauxcentre on ebay. I hope I didn't get the faulty ones you got first

    hi i got them from the same place and i took three back as they were faulty if u brought 6 then its possible they came out of a different car the ones i had came out of two different cars so i have a mixture of my origonal injectors and the rest came from them . and two of the injectors give different readings from the solonids on the injectors so i need to confirm which ones are faulty 2 or 4 of them but i suspect its the 2 that are faulty what does your car do and if u changed the injectors has it made it better
