Or, to cut cut your travelling down to smaller chunks, there is a nice travel inn with pub that does good food and beer right on my doorstep. Could stay there Saturday night and convoy up sunday morning.

£48 per room for a Saturday night, might I sugest that Mark & Dean share a room? Unless you're bringing anyone else? Brewers Fayre pub attached so not bad food on the doorstep.

Tried this one, but is fully booked. I have managed to book a room in the Cardiff East Premier Inn, has a beefeater attached, which is about 4 miles away, still only £48 for the room.

That one's not too far away and the Beefeater there does good food, used to eat there quite a lot
