does anyone know how much it cost to get it fitted?
cheers

Best give a VX dealer a ring. If you are "good" with a set of spanners so to speak. How about doing it yourself. It is not too difficult. Just the rear screw is DAMNED awkward to put back in as it is hidden behind a metal bracket.
and haynes says Ive got to strip the heater matrix and so on......even before I get to the servo.....not good.
It is just bolted on the side. Torx screws. I forget the size thought..
I suggest you remove the glove box and have a look. But when you have removed all the glovebox screws, dont pull the glove box away too far, nor too hard as you will need to unplug the glove box light, so be a bit carefull.
There is plenty of room to get in. But you will need to work upside down to see what you are doing when getting the rear screw out and back in, brearing in mind how the lever is "set" on the heater when you re-locate the new servo. As I suggest remove the glovebox and then make your mind up if you want to give the job a go.![]()
ok - i'm all nervous...lol
Can this motor cause a "cr-cr-cr-cr" sound (for 3-4 seconds) that I get every now and then, coming somewhere behind the glovebox? If it is, can I have a part number?

Every time I press the recirculation button, it doesn't matter if it's ON or OFF, I get that sound from behind the glove box and don't know what can be.
