Default Will SAAB 9-5 brakes fit?

I have come accross a set of calipers from a 2007 plate Saab 9-5. And i think they are the 314 set up. Will they fit or is it only the 9-3 brakes that will fit

I believe they will if you have the calipers and the carriers, just that most people hold out for the 314mm jobbies.

No, they won't fit, or rather they have nothing more in common with Vec-C brakes than any other random car on the road. The Vec-C and Saab 9-3 share the same chassis, hence why many components such as brakes and engines are shared. As an aside, the 314mm Vec-C/9-3 brakes have more in common with the 320mm brakes on the Ford Focus ST (the 225bhp Mk II model) as the calipers for the ST and Vec-C are both made by ATE and the calipers are 99% identical to look at. The 9-5 brakes will have little in common with these.

Are you sure? Just that there are a few Vx motors with 308mm discs and saab are a GM company after all. Not saying I know, just that it seems more likely than not.

The Saab 9-5 and the Vec-B were developed together; so if you've got a Vec-B the 308's might fit (if you had the 5-stud hub), but for a Vec-C, it's a no-no.

    All 9-5 components are different.

308's were originally fitted to Astra and Zafira Turbo's, the Vec B had adapted carriers for the facelift 2.6 GSi to have 308's.
