Rear door on 2.0dti signum will not open, rear door module replaced with no change. All functions work with press of keys to open door ie. lights on etc except no motor whirl that opens the door. (It used to open to the first latch but now does not at open, which means at least I don't have to keep hitting the rear door to close it)

Garage suspect "body control unit" faulty and needs replacing. Have been told this is main dealer problem and send the car for checking and fixing.

Reading various threads the item is located under the glove box but have found nothing about how to replace it or the cost.

Yes it is dealer fit only using tech2.

check wiring to door from b post for broken wire

Door Modules need to be tech2 'd out and in for them to work.

Quick update.

Car tech2 tested and door micro switch fault found, plus egr fault.(another thread)

Funny thing today 13th the door has started to work and everything is back to normal, will let you know if that changes.
