Default Miles per tank full 2.0T

Thought i'd share this with you all. Have been doing a bit of eco driving to work and back, 32 mile round trip 70% b road 30% single carriage a road. I must admit, i think the 2.0T lump has done pretty good. What do you guys reckon??

I was actally averaging 32.6 but i nailed it to the petrol station

I've actually started eco driving to work and back all the time now, it saves me about £80 a month in fuel, which i consider a good saving

thats about the same as i get from my 2.0t. I have to routes to choose from when going to work. One is bout 9 miless but full of traffic and the mpg falls through the floor. Or the other route is bout 14 miles but i get 33mpi. Which i think is really good for such a lump. A beautiful lump mind you. Lol.

The poster's figure of 31.7mpg was dead on the money for combined fuel economy for the 2.0T. Unless you get too fond of the loud petal and/or the whooooosh of the turbo real-world fuel economy on the 2.0T is pretty close to the manufacturer's figures, which is more than I could say for the non-VVT 1.8 I had before, with the same mix of driving types and styles.

On a full tank I get something in the range 350-410 miles.

I do believe the make of petrol also makes a difference to what sort of mileage you get.

without a doubt all supermarket fuels give poor mileage

Jet seems to be the best for me with shell coming a close second
