Wife phoned up saying that the cars was banging in this area.

Had a quick spin and you could just about feel it on the pedals as it clonked about. Had a quick look and all seems ok (although very difficult to see on the floor) so drove over a speed hump and then again a big clonk. Next hump again a big clonk so hit the next hump @ about 30mph and clonking then stopped. We do drive slow over the bumps normally.

Question:
The nylon sleeves that they fitted do they wear over about 15K. Car has since had the front suspension removed and inspected again about 9K ago.

Quesion 2:
Cars that I've taken the suspension off before have a pivot bearing part that goes between strut top plate and inner wing. This means that the spring and strut turn together and do not dislocate. What have the C's got @ the top of the plate.

Anyone got a parts/assembley picture of the strut please, maybe from the TIS ( I think). Would also like the rear pics aswell
