Default Upgrade brakes on '07 Vec CDTi Sri 150?

So what can be fitted to this then with 18" wheels? Any other GM motors that are compatible?

I'm a big fan of good stoppers, especially if I can get em cheap!

Cool thanks. Is that a standard fit on a saab 9-3 then? Will the calipers go straight on?

The 314's are worth EVERY penny on the 150 mate. I don't know why they didn't fit them as standard to be honest

I'll second that, they are absolutely fantastic.

    Lol you're not wrong!

So...I've been offered a full set of front brakes off a breaker vxr - discs, pads, calipers and carriers for £350. Fair price?

I'm assuming they will fit ok and not cause the master cylinder any problems...?

Why does everyone keep forgetting about the rears!?> doing the front only

    Current :
    Front : 285mm ventilated
    Rear : 278mm solid

    Upgrade :
    Front : 314mm ventilated
    Rear : 292mm ventilated

You will also need the brake bias checked and adjusted after fitting
The full service stopping distance will be reduced by about 6%

Only because most (not all) of the braking is done with the front brakes. I just wanted to bring mine into line with the 3.0 V6 diesel with 314 front and 278 rear as they work fine. I also upgraded the brake hoses to braided ones (Goodridge) all round and that also helped make the pedal much firmer
