    Default Heavy coolant loss on V6 3.0! EGR related

    Just replaced the EGR on the V6 and now there is a tremendous coolant loss on the driveway. I'm almost 100% sure I've put the clips back to their place...but could I have damaged one (or more)?
    I was twisting around the one on the cooled manifold a lot...

    You do realise that you're giving the V6 diesel a bad name on here don't you.LOL

    Started it up and moved it a bit.
    Going out to see if there's more coolant on the floorWill top it up and go for a drive. If the coolant light comes on then I do have a problem.

    One note though. When I started it (sat on the driveway about 24h) it was wobblier than usual. Some coolant was on the fuel pump when I took the EGR off...could this have compromised just about the only part that was working well?!

    It seems to have sorted itself out lol

    I can't believe how much difference in performance...a new EGR made my car 50k younger. There's absolutely no black smoke now! Well, maybe just a little bit, but that's normal...it's a diesel Only injectors to sort out now.
