    Default vxr insert fitting help???

Hi there today i sprayed my vxr insert to fit onto my 2.2i direct.
I tried to remove the old moulding so tomorrow i can just clip the new insert into place the old moulding seems to be very tight to the car and i cant get it to clip out i have removed all the plastic rivits and unclipped the clips in the middle but it just wont move i cant get the other small clips to pop out.

Did anyone else find this hard to get off i dont want to pull it to hard incase it breaks the bumper any hints or tips would be apreciated

    Thanks

i have recently changed my rear lower bumper trim on my signum. I ended up cutting the clips off the old one! Wasn't a problem but i just got bored pulling it and possibly damaging the bumper. If you don't want to keep it do that, but if you do its just keep trying.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Easier to take the bumper off and use a small screwdriver to prise it out, thats what i've had to do to my signum one which ive just changed.

I removed mine with the bumper on. It wasnt easy though. Once you have the rivets off, start pulling the insert out from the sides towards the middle going one clip at a time. You will have to give it some muscle, but it will come off nice and intact.
