ciggy lighter help

yesterday I left liverpool to get to london to see the family for the weekend what should have bin just under a 4 hour drive turnd into a 5 and a half hour drive becaude the sat nav died I thaught I had it on charge but the ciggy lighter won't work the front or the bak as anyone had problems with there's or anyone know ow I could fiddle with it to get it working? As I need to charge the sat nav to get home on monday haha thanks in advance guys

First things first, check the fuse, its easy enough, just have a look in your handbook for the fuse number location. More than likely it will be that.

In that case does anyone have a 54 reg veccy because av left mine at home was stupid of me to do that I know but u learn from you mistakes

I think you mean "does anyone have a HANDBOOK for a 54 plate Veccy" - unless you've left the car at home by accident...

Fuse 22 (30amp), dashboard fuse box, passenger side - according to an Aug 03 handbook.


EDIT - and a Feb 2007 handbook as well, but the rear accessory socket is fuse 17 (15amp) in the boot fuse box.

Just making sure because mine has a airbag sign on it but wen u open the passenger door its on the side of the dash bored??

Correct. The fuse box is behind that cover on the side of the dash.
