Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years

, There is a common problem that produces the noise you are on about and it is the rear upper control arms, broken springs and rear anti roll bar bushes. Most likely culprit would be I would look at is the springs, Vx ones are ultra rubbish and just by getting to know this site you will come across the springs problem time and time again (it's like a plague!). If it's not a spring then it will most definately be an upper control arm, they are about £66 each from Vx or you can pick them up on ebay or from LMF LINKY! for £35. There is also a 'how 2' on the site if you want give it a go and change them yourself.
