Default There's a first for all things?

Got out of the car on Asda carpark clicked to lock and as I tuned to walk towards the store clicked for the second time and.....heard it in stereo??? So I stoped open the car again and yes clicks in stereo. I was also opening and closing a new merc?

I made sure both cars were locked and did some shopping, I forgot all about it and was just about to put the key in the ignition to return home, when the doors locked, yes the lady who owned the merc had opened her boot and she locked my car.

What are the chances of this happening again?

A co worker got a knock on the door from a lady who had just been sat in his Citroen C3 trying to start it!!! She was picking her friends C3 up from the works carpark which was the same colour as his. She unlocked it with the fob but the imboliser was different so it wouldn't start!!! But these cars r french and held together with spit so you have to expect this type of thing to happen. ;-)

If you were to park next to the Merc again it wouldn't happen again I believe as the codes are rolling. So each time you press the button it changes the codes. Years ago you could "copy" someones signal on your watch and use it to get into there car. Rolling codes stopped all that.

not quite the same but ...
the reps at numatics used to have sierras in the 80/90's and the execs jag's .
one of the favorite past times with the reps was if the keys were in the jags lock the cars with the ford key (chubb) any chubb keys would work in any cubb lock to lock it but wouldnt unlock it .
