Default PC, DVD, TV Haven't got a clue?? HELP!!

    Hi,

I have recently watched a few films and TV programmes from the internet.

To do this i have had to put the movie files onto my lap top or connect it by wireless to my desk top PC and stream the film to my lap top which i plug into my TV.

    With me so far??

My DVD player needs replacing and was wondering of anyone makes a DVD player with a built in wireless PC connection for streaming media?

I don't want to keep setting up my lap top every time i want to watch something and would like something more permanent that is easy enough for the Mrs to use.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks!

I stream from computer to PS3 and watch that way, the best other way would recommend is get a Media Player, about £99, its like an external drive

You put your movies onto that from the computer and plug it to the TV, works great, i think

Here is the one i use

Looks good but i still need something that plays 'old fashioned' DVD's too.

Does it connect wirelessly to the PC or does it need to be plugged in to get the films onto it?

I'm only 37 and technology is passing me by!
