    Default Change of GSi Tyres

My 2005 GSi needs some new footwear but I'm shocked by the price of replacing the Goodyear Eagles 215/50R17s that are currently on the car. There seems to be much more choice available (and much less expensive) if I move up to 225/45/R17 but wondered if this is OK to do this? Or should I go for 225/50R17? Also, do I need to stick to Goodyears as the Falken FK452 seems good value and get's good reviews. Any help or advice would be tops. Cheers, Rob

Yes m8 you can go for 225/45/r17 also yes you could use something different. I personally go for Toyos PX4 or T1R/S

Most people on here have done so. My recommendation is the Uniroyal rainsport2.
