Default Mtech Dipped, Fog and Full Beam

    I want brighter lights...

Esp for the winter coming up.. I have to travel across dartmoor at night. and with the driving rain, fog and suicidal animals that just lay in the road... it can be slightly dicy... esp when you come across a huge 2 ton cow!!

But I cannot afford HIDS at the moment... Ive seen some mtechs... but they say they are not road legal... yet they are just a few k's darker than HIDS ??? does anyone have any other info about the Mtechs??

its not about brightness they say they are approved and whatever but theis doesnt mean they are road legal. Because they produce such a bright light many drivers wonder whether HID Xenon bulbs are actually road legal. Well the simple answer is that they are completely road legal if they are part of a manufacturer's factory fitted HID lighting system. It is possible to buy aftermarket kits that upgrade standard halogen headlights to HID xenon bulbs, however at present the law does state that these type of HID conversion kits are not legal.
