Help require by you 2.0T owners

I need some help with my engine project. i need to see what room there is between the engine and the front bumper.... my car is in bit so i cant use mine!
What i want to do is put a larger intercooler on the front and move the rad and air con back.. my plan is to have a custom intercooler and have custom brackets made to support the rest. I have a garage in Cardiff to do the work but they need to take measurements of what fits..so....
I need some kind person with the same size engine in same size car to accompany me to the garage.......

Cant comment on the Rad pack but have any of you 2.0T guys considered taking out the balancer shafts? Its a 10hp mod on the 2.2 and the 2.0 runs the same set up.

Why do you won't a bigger intercooler!!I think the VXR has the same intercooler as your car witch is good for the 300 bhp(i think).

If anything move the stock one forward or get one with the same volume but more efficient (more surface area for cooling) All you'll end up doing is shaft the drivability and responsiveness.

If you can get over the ecu's sensertiverty(can't spell) to high boost levels you could be onto a winner!!Linked with that hybrid! your next stop may have to be getting rid of that duel mass clutch set up then.

Unfortuantly there driven by the bottom chain and i'm sure its an engine out job. A few have done it like Vocky on his N/A VX220.
