Well.....I havent really had the time to do anything with the car's recently.
So yesterday, though't id play about with the plug on the 3rd Injector and MAF Sensor.
So I pulled them both off and put them back in and made sure they were seated properly. Car was cold from overnight so would be able to tell if the wobble was there.
Anyway, fired her up and left it to idle for 2 mins and I must admit that I couldnt feel the wobble (as much I should say). Then I did what I normally do to feel the wobble furthermore and rev'd it to 1k rpm and held it and again the car didnt wobble much, it was pretty much the engine turning I could feel.
Anyway, took it for a spin and this is the stupid part because I think its all in the mind, BUT I actually felt that there was a far lesser flat spot.
It felt like the car was pulling away from 1.5k'ish rpm as opossed to 1.8-2k rpm.
Im going to get some electric contact cleaner soon and take all the plugs off the Injectors and re-seat and the same with the MAF plug, before I go onto change the wiring on the 3rd Injector.
I havent told my dad yet that I tried this as I wanted to see if he generally notices any change. I doubt he will though as the last time I asked him he said I cannot tell as I dont drive into the turbo range..........., here's the keys you try it.....
.
I know one other person on here did something similar with the plugs on the MAF and ECU, anybody else experience a better feel with simply tinkering with the plugs and/or wiring.
