just rang my local vauxhall dealership to get a price for the return spring and was given a price of just under £10.00 then i asked them how much to fit the part so i dint have to roll around the floor trying to fit it and seen as though its a 5 min job they wanted £75.00 to fit, what a rip off

It is a replacement as the other one can snap/fall out.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

I take it you've fitted it then? Have to say I find it fine on mine, not a lot different to what it was before I fitted it (if I remember correctly as it was last sept' I fitted it) , but at least it ensures the clutch pedal rises fully , to stop any excess wear on clutch and to ensure the cruise control works properly.
