Default 1.9 cdti 150 bhp REMAP which one??????

    Hi folks
have had a tuning box for last year and a half & been very happy with so far, however been reading the forums about remapping & seems to be the way forward
my question is: which remap, I punched into google & every man & their dog seems to be doing remaps?

which company would you guys reccomend, pros & cons, price etc as I do not want to end up with a pup so as to speak

    cheers

    G

BSR is the business. Not the cheapest, but 'it does what is says on the tin' so to speak.

To throw something else into the mix, EDS remap, same as 888 remap.

Cost £500, but i'm super happy with mine! Car goes like stink with no side effects! No lumpy driving, or harsh power lumps... infact, unless you clear 2500rpm, youd never know its mapped.... other than, increased fuel economy!

Im not sure about other maps, but on the EDS, you can also bypass the EGR as well as doing other clever stuff which i didnt understand when told

    I have had 3 of my 4 1.9 150' re-mapped.

I have used the EDS map and although I did'nt have any complaints, EDS maps for this engine never produce the 200bhp they claim. think more 180-185bhp. But it did improve the car.

Compared to BSR though, the EDS map is not as good. The BSR map has a more factory feel to it and is alot smoother to drive. The EDS map is more aggressive.

I would always go BSR, but the Courtenay map is also very good, I would go as far as to say it is a little better than the BSR map.
