really unhappy with them as they have all got a slight scratches some quite big in them apart from the rear window and one of the rear quarters has a small hair in it!!!!!I was 30 mins late getting to him and I think he rushed a little, I didn't see the scratches as the sun was blazing and he just washed the car ...will the scratches come out or will he have to reapply the tints?

vectra's are a pain to tint ive been told by the guy who did mine, more than likely have to reapply i had loads of trouble with mine. Especially around the edge of the back window well worth checking if the tint has taken to the dot matrix around the edge if he does it agin for you.

Ok Hair could be a scratch in the glass... look very very closely. I had this on mine

There will be some air in them but this does disapear

this is the pic of what i thought was a hair.. it wasnt untill the tinter pulled out the magnifying glass that you could see it wasnt.

they actually look wider than they are where the flash has caught them, they are as thin as a hair

Hi there, these scratches, are they on the inside or outside.

Tinters get the shape of the film from the outside of the window, and cut it to fit before applying on the inside.

If the scratches are on the outside it could be as he was using his knife blade to cut the film. On the inside, they are likely to be from when he was getting the bubbles out (he may have used a stiff plastic to do this).

The ones on the outside are there forever im afriad, but the one on the inside can be removed by replacing the film.

If you are not happy, go back to him, as a lot of the money from window tiniting is labour charge, which he is pocketing.

mate i cant really tell from the pics but take it back mate simple as that i had mine dont recently and noticed a scratch in film they replaced it free of charge, plus i have light scratchs in class and i dont notice them, shame mate really is.....you wont get nowt if you dont ask...shy babys and all that plus get rid of that boy racer crap on ya heed lol
