Default Egr or boost sensor ??

i have recently cleaned the boost sensor on the inlet manifold and im sure the egr is clean, im getting (mainly from cold) a quick short sharp and snappy pull back or sudden loss of boost or power! hard to explain realy but its a quick on/off must be boost type related any ideas folks ??? (1.9 cdti 150) the swirls are well worn but all connected and working.

this engine is in 1000% top condition and is as new, so im very confident its the sensor or egr starting to fail, i could do with a sensor to try to eliminate it.

problem now solved!!, took the egr off and it was clean as i thought but the plunger-spring valve was slightly open so i worked it by hand and it stuck open, as i said above it was cleaned about 4 weeks ago so it just goes to show it can happen, cleaned with wd 40 to get it working again.
