3.0 insignia

hi.

i see there is a 3.0 cdti vec, is there the same in insignia?

im thinking of newer model soon and want a big diesel again.

does anyone know the engine ranges?

Pretty certain they have dropped the 3.0. It is an Isuzu engine.

No V6 diesel in the Insignia, roumor has it the 2.9 twin turbo diesel has been dropped for future models

There were plans for a 2.9 twin turbo v6. this has been dropped and the only fastest option would be a mapped 2.0 twin turbo when it comes out. If you do a search in the insignia section you will find some info on it.

The 2.7 and 2.9 V6 diesel programme has been dropped for good.

The 190PS 2.0 CDTi twin turbo has now been released. This develop's more power and torque than the old 3.0, and is also available with 4x4.

It would not surprise me if a higher power version of the 2.0 twin turbo version comes out in the future.
