    Default parking sensor wiring

Have just fitted the rear interior light, noticed that i have the parking sensor wiring all there, is this a simple add on or does it get involved.

Hi, what model do you have? may need a Tech2 upload, do you have the button on the dash? look behind a 'blank'

It's quite involved I think, but if you PM 'Vectra 2.0 T' , his is done, he'll keep you right.

I don't think Vectra 2.0T has retro fitted the factory fit parking sensors - do correct me if I'm wrong!

Paul (Leeds Vectra) and myself discussed this in depth some time ago on VS and ended up concluding that is was too expensive as it required new bumpers. I think we also spoke about it on here when someone else asked - I'll see if there's a thread.

Yes, I recall it being talked about in a thread, that's how I thought Vectra 2.0T had had his retro fitted, I don't know. I'm sure he'll be along in a minute to set the record straight LOL. But I was told by my tame vxl parts manager that it was a very big and expensive job to retro fit.

Hopefully he will! If he did then I know Paul will be very interested - although I think he has now gone for the Vx aftermarket one.

He was right!! You need a new bumper and the control units etc. and it starts to get very expensive. I went for the Vx aftermarket kit and it works very nicely.
