Default Vectra Estate Rear Park Pilot Bumper Trim

I don't know if this is of use to anyone but I won it on Ebay

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...id=p2761.l1259

The only problem is the seller estimated delivery at £10 and can't send it for less than £60 due to the size of it, I have checked with other couriers and can't get it for less either. Hence I have just ordered one from my local dealer for £40 and pick it up next Thursday.

I have spoke to the seller and he'll keep it for me until after the Bank Holiday weekend, so if there is anybody on here who is considering fitting park pilot to the rear of their estate this bit of trim can be theirs for.........wait for it.......FREE (Hence why it's not in the parts for sale section as their is no price), but what I would ask is you place a donation in the clubs "Help for Heroes" collection via the donation page once I have confirmed the collection with the seller.

If you are interested please PM me and i'll get in touch with the seller to arrange collection, as you can see from the listing the item is in Knebworth, Hertfordshire.

Tell me about it , won it on Ebay for £3 with £10 postage absolute bargain or so I thought. Originally quoted over £100 to ship it to me, then after a bit of searching got it down to £60 which is still £25 more than getting it from my local dealer.

Don't know what the charge would be for international shipping.

It's very annoying the fact they can't be bothered to quote correctly and secondly stick to the winning bid even if THEY funked the prices up..

Worst of all it's to far for me to collect!!

wouldnt he be obligated to actually post it for the total of 13£ as the bid was?

Yes but I doubt a stealer's would do that...

Could complain to ebay and you should deffo get your money refunded no questions asked...

....and I'd leave crap feedback as to be fair it's not on IMHO..

Don't know where the Ebay rules stand on this, and can't find anything on the site. Would of thought with him been part of Marshalls Group they would have some kind of courier contract set up but alas that is not the case.

He's offered to refund but before I accept thought I'd see if anybody on the forum would be interested first.

Yes he is obliged legally to honour the price, his mistake and he has to take the hit.
