My previous car, a Mondeo Mk3 Ghia TDCI
From new there was always something faulty or outstanding to be replaced
The first SONY CD player was faulty and it took 12 months to get a replacement (as I only wanted a new one, no refurbs thanks)
Within the first week a tyre went faulty
At the first service the instrument cluster was found to be faulty
A few days later another tyre went faulty, the car was then hit by a HGV whilst on the hard shoulder!
The replacement CD player then went faulty and again it took a very long time to get a replacement
The car was then booked in for its first "official" MoT, but the following day the engine then suffered a snapped inlet valve which ruined it!
The car was off the road for near on three months as the fault could not be disagnosed or rectified and a replacement engine could not be found, Ford had never seen such a fault in an engine
As a result they agreed to buy back the car as it had not yet sat its first MoT
I was offered the latest Mondeo at a "knock down price", but negotiated on a Vectra C instead!

Oh, yes, my first company car may years ago was a green Cavalier. It had one of those invisible targets painted on the side that made it essential for everybody to bang into it whenever they could.
It spent so much time on the back of pickup trucks that I always carried a good book in the glovebox, so I something to do while I was waiting!

any Blue car!!!!! I have had 3 so far and all have been written off. I have no problems with other colours and my mother is the same.

If we own a Blue car you can 100% say it will be written off in no less than 4 months.

The last car I had before my Signum was a 06 plate Primera. When I bought it, it looked silver in the showroom. However when I picked it up and it was outside waiting for me I noticed it was more Blue Silver I thought as it had been years since I last had a Blue car I would be safe....... Oh how wrong was I. 2 months down the line it's in a crash and written off.

My Signum is BLACK!!! not even a hint of blue anywhere on the car

I had An Astra Estate a few years ago, it was like it had targets all over it. Every time It was hit, it got repaired only to be hit again within months. It spent so long in the body shop , we were on 1st name terms and they kept spare paint for when it came back. It had a couple of rear ends , one head on sitting in traffic (she was blinded by the sun whilst turning right in front of me). 2 side impacts . I hit a brick on the M40 resulting in shattered wheels. Then the Cam belt snapped on the M27 2 days before the lease was up. Never been so glad to see the back of any car.

    And it was Blue !!
