If I refer to the old days, I wonder if there is a park position switch in the wiper mechanism.
In the old days, there used to be a micro-switch in the wiper motor that maintained the power to the motor until the arm reached the park position at which time the micro-switch contacts opened and the wiper motor stopped.
I am going to assume that a Corsa C will still use this type of set-up...separate the wiper motor from it's gearbox and look for a contact switch or something.
Also there is often grease in these gearboxes to lubricate the cogs / gears.
If the grease becomes hard and clumpy, it may also affect the operation of the micro-switch giving a "random" stop position.
That is looking for basic mechanical electrical causes.
If the Corsa C uses Canbus control, then there could be a faulty pick-up in the motor unit, or in the control module that supplies current to it (although the module is unlikely to go faulty).
Have you tried the Corsa forums? I'm sure there will be several of them around, just like there are about four or five for the Vectra's.
I'm sure those forums will know more about any strange foibles or quirks that the Corsa has.
