Default Help needed in Lowering Springs for 1.9 CDTI SRI Vectra C (54 reg)

    Hey guys

New member here as I bought my 1st vectra yesterday and I LOVE IT

Went for MOT today and they said I need new rear coilovers so thought why not lower the car :P

Any one know where I can get springs from? Lowering about 30mm I would say.

    Thank you

Get yourself some Eibachs from here mate LINKY

I've got them on mine and i've never looked back, the best springs around IMO

(Just make sure you get the correct weighted springs when you buy them)

    Thank mate

    This seems cheaper http://www.toys4cars.co.uk/index.php...ducts_id=61145

but I'm confused how low shall I go. At the moment it's on original 17inch wheels. I'll post the pic up soon. Don't want it too slammed. Might get 18s on it in the future but not at the mo

Those you have linked are the ones I bought yesterday from the same place - they came this morning and loads of members have them - I will be fitting them at the weekend, so if you can hang on I can show you what they will look like on a CDTi SRi (mine has 18" alloys too).

The Eibach's are decent quality springs but don't lower an SRi by much - 5-10mm max as you need to -15mm off what they say as the SRi's are that much lower (so those 45mm springs should lower it about 20mm).

Yeah defo will wait for your car pics. So if I lower it by 30mm spings, it will sit about 15mm lower then orignaly what they are?
