Default Quick question on the Spring Seat Mod...

I have searched the forums and found the part number for the sleeve mod for the front springs (13178463) but also found things about different colours etc...

From what I gather, I just need two of the above and thats it - nothing needed for the back... or is there something thats needed..?

What do I need to buy from VX as I will be fitting new springs all round on my SRi this weekend.

That's it mate, just the 2 spring seat mods for the front. However, when I changed mine I bought some new ones but already had the mods on the old springs .

    Good luck

Nice one cheers, I do have the mods on the current springs, but one of them has ripped due to the way the spring had snapped.

Can't wait to get the new ones fitted

    Default

    Only the bottoms mate.

They stop the spring from 'twanging' (technical term that ) when you put it on or close to full lock.

    Cheers Dan,

hmm, mine dont twang but sometimes my drivers side front makes a noise from the spring... like rarely, cant be felt, just, just heard from inside the car, probably done it 5 times in 3000miles...

Doesnt bother me too much, and ive had the shocker of to double check & all is fine, but i dont seem to remember having the seat mod on my eibachs! Might be worth doing sometime....
