bit strange tbh, most of the Italians go on holiday during August, it was like a ghost town! was over for work, pity as the weather was v warm & I was stuck in an office

hope to go back (Rome) for a short break next year.

That is mighty strange looking for Italy, ghost town right enough.

Sister got married in Italy in Aug a few years ago and the place couldn't have been any more packed. Does look nice though, pitty you were working.

Depends where you go. They all escape the cities and head off to the countryside or seaside, its most weird. Good time to go on a city break!

looks like a nice place to visit, some great looking building's there......that time of year would suit me down the the ground as i don't like it too busy...

Im of to Milan next Friday with work, few days there, then of to Berlin...... hopefullly we will get some down time!
