Fuel warning on radio incorrect.

On my 1.9 cdti signum elite, on the radio it says I have 0 miles until i need to refuel, anyone got any idea's because i do have juice and shows me on the right hand side of the display like it does on a normal fuel gauage?

Yes, the computer is never correct. You must be low for it to say that. Near the bottom of the red? If your not low on fuel then there is a problem

The amount remaining can be adjusted, but you need access to Tech 2. I personally would leave iut unless its lots out as its better to have an inaccurate reading than run out of fuel.

my old design ran out on 29miles remaining , felt a bit of a pillock having to call the AA to throw a gallon in it to get me going again !

Mine ran out on 19mile once but the other week did 36 mile on 0

as far as I can tell my 1.9 is accurate. needle hits the top of the red bit (1/8 tank) and the light comes on, computer says 48 miles to go. by the time the needle is at the bottom of the guage and the light is flashing the computer says 10 miles to go. it then takes easily 55 litres to fill up. Im guessing the car has a 60 litre tank?

The last few miles -as all of the miles really - will alter depending on your driving style at that moment in time. So you may get more or les then 10 miles out of it if it says 10 miles remaining.

thanks for the help guys was just the stupid radio info tellin me i had non when i put twenty quid in so i banged another 20 in an it went off haha possibily the sensor was stuck ? I dont know haha

why get so low on fuel guy's it's asking for all kinds of problems ,never get below quarter tank!!!!
