hmm.. haven't got my service book handy, but I think the vauxhall long life oil is 5W-30.
Castrol Edge is available in 5w-30, so i'd use that if you can get it.
Also, just reading GSi3.2 comment from before - if you have a DPF you have to stick to vauxhall's oil: -

They are even quoting £39 for Oil and Filter change for 3.0 CDTI's ! And if booked online it is £35.10.....!

Put reg into the box for quote

Yes, the Castrol Edge 0W-30 will be fine
It's not the exact same specification, but its very close
    Personally, maximum 10K miles / 1 year

I've asked National before to quote for a 3.0 V6 CDTI
They were happy enough to quote, but when they phoned up for the filter they had to advise the price would have to seriously change!
It's also the wrong oil and engine specification...
The below oil is recommended for your vehicle (VAUXHALL Vectra 3.0 DTi/CDTi, -Auto, -SRi (Vectra C - Y30DT - 130kW)).
Price based on supplying a maximum of 7 litres of oil. If more than 7 litres are required an additional charge may be applied in branch
    Castrol Edge 0W30 Full Synthetic
    £35.10
It should be the 5W30 oil, als it's slightly more than 7 litres
Kwik Fit do the correct oil, but they too also had decline when they phoned up for the oil filter

    Perhaps they both overlooked this!

Just had a look, that price is pretty good for oil and filter change. I like to do between service oil and filter changes so here is hoping it will this price for a while.
