    Default Finally, front spring snapped....

I noticed a strange noise from the front today and found that the bottom part of the spring has snapped, but the rest has decided to come out of the cup (where it sits at the bottom) and now wraps round the strut underneath the cup !!!

Right, so the question is - (not including Eibach as they are too £££) what are my options for my CDTi - looking around the £100 mark for a set of lowering springs and not too low either, 30 - 40mm max.

Part numbers would be ideal, or links as I need to order some asap, as I can't use my car as it is - cheers all.

Are these the right ones for a 1.9 CDTi...?

    http://www.pi-suspension.co.uk/p1253965.htm

They only list an Estate with the 1.9 CDTi ?!?!??!?!

I know you say Eibachs are too ££! But at £160 a set, you get what you pay for! To behonest i agree, they are a little dear! But, the benefit is, in normal driving you would never guess the car has been lowered... there is simply no compromise in ride comfort!

They simply tighten up in the corners, when you need em, but on normal driving just lovely, dare i say it, smoother than standard springs! With things like PIs, Konis etc, they are awesome springs, but the car does feel lowered on them with the natural bounce back from lowering springs, tried em before....
