Exclamation CD 40 Stearing Wheel Remote Fault

Aparently this is a fault with many or all Vectras with the CD 40 and Stearing wheel remotes.

Not the remotes with the three buttons on either side, the one with two buttons and a rocker switch.

When using the selector rocker (left hand side) if you press to select an item it occasionally switches between CD and Radio.

Doesn't happen every time but if you select the Board computer and start/stop the timer 20 or 30 times it should show itself if it's pressent on your unit.

YES - mine has started doing that today. So whats the fix? I am trying to select next CD in the 6 stacker and it keeps going to radio and when I select next radio it goes back to CD....

Thumbs up Mine appears to be fixed now!

They put in some 06 model buttons from the signum I belive. They have carbon contacts rather than gold and I haven't seen the problem since.

I am suspicious that sometimes it doesn't select the first time I press it but it's not very frequent and I can live with that (Could never live with it changing and doing what it wanted though).

Contact your dealer and tell them to get in contact with Vx, if they say they are unaware of a problem they are lying because I have a fix now after 10 months!
