    Default German drivers

Going to Rüsselsheim (then to the Nürburgring) next week and was wondering if any of you know what sort of drivers are the germans.
I for a fact know that most italian people are appalling drivers.

How is it on the derestricted autobahns?

Pretty fast, but usually do not block fast lanes like people here do

From what i've experienced the germans are some of the best drivers i've come across. Even when doing speeds in excess of 100mph on the autobahn their lane discipline is like nothing else, it's like they're running on tracks they're so accurate.

they dont like people staying in the outside lane lol. They expect you to move back a lane the instant you've finished an overtake so they can get past even if you have another car you can overtake in less than 10secs or so....

Lane hoggers!!! Hate them with a passion. Don't get frustrated by too much on the road but lane hoggers and those people that do 40mph EVERYWHERE! are my main hates.

UK drivers.... 'Well there is a car three miles ahead so I'll just stay here until I'm past that'. Then there is the ones ' who does he think he is comming up behind me fast, I'll just sit here'

Yip, driving on the autobahns is a complete pleasure and people drive and move over just as they should. The whole driving experience just goes so smooth when drivers do what they should. (why 'o' why can't they do it here in the UK?).

german drivers are wayyy better than the useless tat we have over here.
they have to be damn good to stay alive on roads where there are cars doing 200 mph every day
generally take their driving very seriously no doubt.

Yes you are, nice knowing you...... anyhow, I've drove in Germany loads of time's when I was a squaddie, it was far better driving there than it was here in the UK, it was great on the autobahn, more courteous drivers who pull in after overtaking,I'm sure you will be ok, hope you have a nice time when you are there.

I'm sure I'll be OK. Was just trying to make the fact that I've never been on a 3+lane motorway funny

I will surely take lots of photos and will definitely post them up here Especially the Nürburgring
