    Default 19" Snowflakes and drive comfort

    Just wanted to know what the drive is like on the 19" Snowflakes , I am still looking for a Signum and think they look the nuts with the 19 inchers on but dont want it to be too harsh a drive cheers chris

    its once you start lowering them thats when it gets bumpy

    ive got them on my sri xp vec mate and the ride is fine on smooth roads but not so good on uneven or rutted roads where they tend too tramline a bit probably more to do with the width of them as they are fairly wide with their 235 section tyres

    Agreed. And they hate speed bumps!!!! Got to have them though!

    hello i was wondering if 235 40 19 will fit them with adequete clearenece. I keep getting cracks on the inside of my snowflakes due to low profile tyres.

    They'll fit but don't do it, as explained on another thread, gearing, speedo and handling will be effected in a negative way.

    I have had them on all 4 of my Vectra and Signums and I do 30,000 miles a year and find them no more harsh than the 18" wheels, but a little harsher than pre-facelift cars on 17's.

    They are more composed on facelift cars as these have the better chassis.
