Glovebox Bulb

Finished wiring LED footwell lighting today, so all LEDs done, front light 96 LEDs, rear light 36 LEDs and footwell has 24 each side but can anyone tell me the size of the festoon bulb in the glove box please....

I don,t know the size of the bulb. But I have heard of problems when changing a "blown" bulb. Might be a good idea to take the respective fuse out before you replace the bulb, when you get the info" you are after.

If the glove box light bulb blows it might be a good idea to remove the glove box and disconnect it so as not to short the bulb. As it might disturb a module. You could try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes to reset the modules.

easiest thing is to pop it out and measure but i think it is 42mm

Its not blown, just wish to put LED festoon in to give bright white light and not yellow. I did measure it quickly but not realise you could get 44mm ones, 42 must right then, cheers peoples...

yeah i went for blue led festoon, anything looks so much better than the yellow imo

the boot bulb is the same as glovebox one too

going to remove rear boot light and fit 48 LED panel in each side using the middle of the three ventilation holes. I have sourced some replacement interior light lenses to cut up to make a proper looking light fitting...
