    Default Replacement injectors bought ££££

Decided to give the tired Siggy another shot. Bought a set of 6 injectors off ebay for £400.

Totally gutted to see the money go... And £300 more on Monday for a new EGR

Let's hope this will solve the judders and heavy grey smoke
Long live the 3.0 V6 CDTi

Fingers crossed for you here, It's not been an easy rollercoaster so far.

Hope it sorts it, are you sure you need to get a new EGR? Would it not be more prudent to do the injectors now and then test before buying a new EGR?

Sadly I do need a new EGR Keep getting P0400 despite the fact that I gave it a good clean. As soon as I floor it and come back to lower revs it throws up that code
As for the injectors...it's CONSTANTLY smoking plumes of grey smoke even under light acceleration, not to mention if I floor it. It judders constantly, on idle, 1500rpm stationary and on the move, etc.
Somehow the fuel consumption doesn't seem to be affected by any of these things
