    Default Turning Over

Ive noticed the car has begun to start to have problems starting.

It seems to take 4 or 5 turns at times before the engine will tick over.

Ive had the car recently serviced.

    Its a 2.0DTI 54 Plate , 39k on the clock... was 24k in Jan.

    Any ideas?

I have stopped using fuel additives a few weeks ago could that be it??

That's what I've also heard about the 2l DTi. I had a Vec B 2l DTi which was occasionally a problematic starter but it wasn't consistent so I managed without having to do anything.

The other favourite is glow plugs but that probably would only be a problem in much colder weather - in fact that may have been more likley to be my problem as it was ambient temperature related.

Is the battery still the original mate? We had something similar on our DTI and it was a discharged battery.
