Meriva

The dealer offered me a great discount for the Meriva, I am tempted to go for one. Read a lot of articles that state Meriva's reliability as excellent. This is where I come to look for your thoughts and experience with this car, if you have any please write it down.

i had a 1.6 16v design, silver lightening on a 53 plate, great car's and the ''flex seating system'' works really well in it, it has a great elevated driving possition...only down sides were silly amount of boot space if you have a pushchair in the there, poor visibility at the ''A'' post and fuel consumption was poor, they all suffer from poor mpg our's averaged 29.9 mgp and the diesels dont do much better.....

wifes had hers from new is 2 yr old in sept , apart from service .. nothing gone wrong with it a great car done about 19k so far in it

Friends of ours have an 04 plate one. They are happy with it as the main family car.

there good cars and they can be reliable ....the front half or the car is corsa c and the rear half is astra g so the ride can feel a little dated ...and the brakes can be oh dear ...
soon the be replaced with updated model ,a good used car buy ......... but do try and get a high spec one as the seats in the lower spec one's are dia ......

my sis in law has one a 1.8 16v enjoy, good wee family car but tbh she has had a few probs with hers in the 5 years shes had it,egr valve dodgy electrics,dodgy lambda sensor etc and in 1.8 form a bit guzzly nevertheless a very practical wee motor,id go for vxr as its a real pocket rocket and very rare
