    Default British Weather

How many of you have had their car cleaning weekend ruined by our wonderful weather. I wanted to give my car a waxing, I managed to wash it yesterday, but the rain started again and I did not get to dry it, today was no better, so the wife draged me round the garden center, I hope the weather is better for the PVS........Did someone mention a water shortage, if so look out of the nearest window, it has hardly stopped here for several day,s Still it has stopped me from mowing the lawn.

I waxed mine recently Ed, but looked at cleaning it yesterday ads it's riffy.

That was as far as it went though, the weather was cr@p.

Glad I didn't bother as it rained today while I was on the M6 so it would have been pointless.

I'm not keen on the garden centre thing either, "luckily" I was at work today so was safe from that fate.

Fed up with the weather me, waited hours for a dry spell to put the spoiler on, nearly there and the heavens have opened again.

Was supposed to have that fitted by lunch time so i could spend this afternoon trying to clean my interior, doesn't look like that's going to happen now.

I'm running out of time to get the car eady for PVS now, I only have 1 more full day off before, that's going to have be full external detail day (weather permitting), I still need a full day to clean the engine bay/paint engine covers and another day to sort the interior out. At the moment it looks like the engine bay is gonna be left as is and i'm gonna have to try fitting in the interior around work so I can leave my one day for full external detail blinking weather

I was going to do mine today as I spent £100 on all new cleaning gear and polishes and it all arrived this week so I was like a kid with a new toy but was not allowed out to play as the weather has been bad all weekend here as well. Also got a new radio controlled plane, only a cheapy one for my little girl(well thats what the wife thinks)but same, weather again tempted to fly it round the house but the dog will be like an anti aircraft gun and shoot me down
