Default Help on removing the blanks

    Hello all.

Just wondering if you can put some light on this for me. I am interested in putting the T/C button in my Signum. I know it's only a 50/50 chance of it working if you have the blue connector but I just want the button

The problem I have is I don't want to damage the blanking plate that is there at the moment, I have tried to get this off but it looks like the blanking plate will snap. So what's the best way to remove it.

    Thanks

Blue tack. Its not just a cover plate, its about 2cm deep so its quite tough.

ah, 2cm deep. That will explain why when I used a screwdriver it just bent and looked like it might snap!

I want to live where you are, it's been raining up here in Newcastle and there is still a lot of black cloud about. At best I would say it's only 12C
