Unhappy No power to head unit!!

    Hello there everyone.....

Just purchased a GSI in ultra blue and am thrilled with everything apart from the stereo.....Having bought a replacement the other day I removed the CCR2006 and tried to attach the new Blaupunkt unit using the ISO connector i got fro Vx. The new unit would not turn on. After many hours of huffing and puffing I put the old unit back in but now this too will not work. There appears to be no power now going through to the unit.
I checked the fuses and found one had blown in the fusebox by the passenger airbag which i replaced. I again tried to power up the CCR2006 but it still wont turn on. All my local Vx garage could suggest is that it must be a fuse but i have checked them all.

Any ideas? I need help please...............

Jeremy, im not 100% sure, but did you connect the new vauxhall iso to the ciggy lighter for your perm live, and if so maybe you should check the ciggy lighter fuse aswell

You dont need to connect it to the permenant live, well at least I didnt. Ive got an alpine HU and simply re arranged the black and the red wires and plugged them into the appropriate part in the ISO.

I will try and get pics!!!
