rear callipers

hi everyone iv had a few issues with my rear brakes, which hopefull will go once my brakes have bedded in, if not i may have to look at replacing the rear callipers, question is are all vectra c callipers the same? as when i did a quick search a certain website indicated (£95 pound each patent) they were the same 02 onwards, but im sure there are two types of brake pad though, but that may apply to the front only?? if i had to take the plunge can anyone point me in the right direction?, any ideas brifen?

i have just had a few problems with mine pal and all 02 vectra's upward including diesels have the same calliper pad arangment with exception of the 2.2 DTI and the V6 models. You can also try sorcing one from a new SAAB, i managed to get my hands on a calliper carrier this morning from a scrapyard and that was off a SAAB not sure what model it was though sorry.

Out of curiosity i asked about the calliper and they were willing to sell it me for £25 so worth thinking about before you get one from stealers.

No, they are not all the same, you will have one type of caliper for the vented disc (normally for the 292 )and one for the non vented disc.
