Change MAF sensor

hi, i have a 120cdti and i have been having a juddery / misfire around 2000 - 3000rpm.
i tried cleaning egr and then changed it. no better, then i cleaned and changed boost sensor. no better!!
then i changed air filter and wow, car going smooth now!!
only things i had off was MAF, plug for MAF and air filter housing.!!
and filter that came out isnt that dirty to me (am a mechanic). so i am thinking i have a dodgey MAF, but not getting any fault codes or lights coming up. has been for full diagnostic too and nothing found.
so i am going to change my MAF.

so am in much same boat as you so to speak.

my car gets a maintenance check every 30000 km (18500 miles), so the air filter should be okay, I believe it's worth to try.
