Default Flyeye kit on Signum? Anyone tried it?

Well on my battle towards some tinted lights, I came across this 'new' way to tint your lights.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FlyEyesKit-Car...d=p3286.c0.m14

Looks good.. but has anyone actually had it done? I'm only after the backs, but bit worried that..

    A. It looks naff up close

    B. It doesnt shine up (or fades unto a matt look) so looks crap when polishing the car..

But could possibly take the lights out and lacquer over the top of the vinyl im presuming?

safest bet by a long way - not knocking the flyeyes but the marketing is good - just not nice looking on a Signum - i even cut it down just to cover the reversing/indicators and hated it even more
i will be smoking mine with savage tint spray in the not too distant future
but got my fingers in a few other pots on the go as well

Yep. i bought some and tried it. I found that from a distance it looked ok but up close it was a bit naff. I bought it from ebay and the roll that you recieve was not big enough to sufficiently cover the rear lights on a signum, i had'nt enough excess to stretch over the light to allow me to heat it and smooth it out. It just covered it by 10mm at most. Better with the tint spray i think
