    Smile Great Mod

    Hi Guys,

was browsing autodata at work today and found an easy mod

How to make the central locking lock on its own when driving along?

    step 1

    unlock all your doors

    step 2

hold down the lock button on your remote key and the lock button on the drivers door together at the same time for about 10 seconds.

you should hear the central locking do its thing and also hear an audible double beep.

    step 3

drive down the road with the doors unlocked they should automatically lock within a few seconds of you driving forward.

i must mention that this may not work with every year of vectra esspecially the older ones but it did work with my november 05 '55' plate
    vectra life.

if you find that this option is not right for you and you wish to revert back to the way it was before this free mod just follow the steps again and it will revert back.

hope this will please some of you, there have been many distraction thefts happening in and around many citys where some one distract you and the theif steals stuff from your boot and even you back seats.

this has put my mind at rest now as i sometimes forget to lock my doors.

as i said before in this post THIS MAY NOT WORK FOR EVERY ONE.

It's in the handbook, along with a load of other useful info.

Alternately you can pay some guy on ebay a £1 (or more) for the info

If you do a search for vectra secrets, there is a whole load of things, or as said before read the handbook

Ref the fogs, you may find that some random bit of wiring in the dash loom is missing mate. Even with the wiring in the engine bay there, doesn't mean everything else is... Vauxhall are pants when it comes to wiring looms...
