Default Leave it to a dealer and **** up!!

EGR Valves, faulty wiring on 3rd injectors, boost sensors bla bla bla bla ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

My car ran like a dog and I done what a normal person woulda done and left it to VX Dealer. They plugged in diagnostic tool, fixed fault on an injector and I ****** off home and drank som beer, car has been great since. It cost me £68 at dealer, but worth it!
The cdti isn't the kinda engine a DIY dude should be messin with anyway.
I used to have a renault 5 years ago and loved tinkering around with stuff..but modern engine needs a laptop, software and a man in Network Q overalls. LEAVE IT TO THE EXPERTS!

Great stuff mate, BUT your thread title makes it sound as though they ****** it up rather than fixed it!

    Or

Spend £12 on kit and fit yourself in 20 minutes!

Leaves £56 to spend on beer and you only would have lost 20 minutes drinking time

    Lift off engine cover.
Unplug injector plug and take wiring out of cable tube.
Cut two wires to original plug, ditch old plug.
Cut new wires to length and insert in new plug.
Strip back insulation off original and new wires then solder together.
Wrap some insulating tape around soldered connections, put wires into cable tube and plug new plug into injector.
    Put engine cover back on.
    Take car for test drive.

Took me about 10 minutes, but I did use a gas soldering iron which heats up very quickly.

take me about 10 mins to get engin cover back on cuz rubber mountings are such a pain! My motor is still under warranty anyway so i'll let dealer do it...EGR valve already done. No issue with injector...yet!
